The OJO state prosecutors office announced that it has located the second phone that was being used by disgraced Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, the one which she initially said was “lost”.
Janeva had one of her phones seized last Monday, following the arrest of her associate Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 on extortion charges, but claimed that she doesn’t have the other one. Her son Lazar Janev, who allegedly was working with Boki 13 to extort money from businessmen, claimed that the phone was lost in Belgrade, which would’ve complicated the search.

But prosecutors located the phone with a person who told the judge that the phone was received as a gift. Forensics experts will now investigate the device, to determine Janeva’s contacts with Boki 13, with businessman Jordan Orce Kamcev, and with other businessmen who were allegedly blackmailed.

Janeva is currently on sick leave from the SPO, reportedly in her native town of Gevgelija.
