Macedonia continues to advance on the rankings related to crime and corruption in Europe.

In the latest ranking according to the Global Organized Crime Index, Macedonia is ranked high on the 12th position.

Ahead of our country are countries known for the activities of various criminal organizations, such as Turkey, which is first with 6.89 index points, followed by Russia (6.24 index points) and Serbia (6.21 index point).

Behind Macedonia, in the ranking of European countries with highest crime rates are Kosovo, Belarus, Croatia and Greece.
