VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said on Sunday they will file a motion for a government no-confidence vote to the parliament no later than 2.30 pm on Monday.

Before the meeting with the elected mayors, Mickoski said that first he will wait for the Prime Minister Zoran Zaev to fulfill his promise and submit his announced resignation.

He claims that a newly formed majority of 61 MPs is stable and says that Skender Rexhepi, the MP from Alternativa, for whom some media unofficially reported yesterday that he will not support the vote of no confidence in the Government, is eager for the fall of “this corrupt government”. Mickoski called on the other 59 MPs to join the new majority.

The door is open for anyone who thinks that this Government of Zaev is not good. Anyone who supports this government, of course, will not be part of the MPs who will support the no confidence vote. There is no political party here, but it is about MPs. A total of 61 supported the initiative. I call on the others to join, stressed the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, answering reporters’ questions.

According to him, after the initiative is filed, the procedure will be in the hands of the President of the Parliament, who should respect the procedure and the deadlines.

Mickoski also informed that he asked the mayors with whom he will have a meeting this afternoon to start the realization of three of the promised infrastructure projects in 30 days, to give up official vehicles, unproductive spending, to be constantly among the citizens and banners, always available to the media.
