Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Finance Minister Dragan Tevdovski met Wednesday with a delegation of the Anti-Gambling Movement from Tetovo.

Representatives of the Movement submitted requests that sports betting shops and casinos should be relocated from the immediate vicinity of schools and apartment buildings, as well as requirements to provide a way in which part of the income of the games of chance facilities would be used to support the programs of local communities.

Zaev and Tevdovski emphasized that the Government closely follows the debates on this topic and that the competent institutions will thoroughly analyze the arguments of the Anti-Gambling Movement, especially because of the fact that the concern is related to children and youth.
