The website of President Gjorgje Ivanov and his profile on Facebook have not been altered, they still say that he is President of the Republic of Macedonia, although today is the last day to change the name of the state into the Republic of North Macedonia in all digital records, logos, memoranda, electronic communications, websites, media, in accordance with the Prespa Agreement.
Ivanov’s Office didn’t provide an explanation as to why the change has not been made nor when it will happen.
The new name of the state was first applied by Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferi, followed by the Government. The ministries and all other state institutions also changed the name of the country on their official websites.
