Justice Minister Bojan Maricic, who is being mentioned as a possible heir to Zoran Zaev as Prime Minister, told the press that the current priority is to preserve the narrow SDSM led majority in Parliament as Zaev is expected to resign as Prime Minister and SDSM leader.

The will of all coalition partners is to preserve the majority, so that is our priority now. We need to find the best formula so that the Government can continue to function, Maricic said.

He refused to comment about whether he is trying to take over the Government from Zaev, labelling the reports as “speculations”.
