Disgraced former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva had a Louis Vuitton bag with the initials K.J. gold plated on the bag, reports the Kod investigative news program, citing sources within the investigation.
Janeva is charged with using her unchecked power and prestige she gained as the darling of international diplomats to extort millions from businessmen. Kod reports that the police seized three iPhones with three sim cards, USB devices and computers which are being examined with professional support from Apple, as well as a number of luxury items believed to have been bought with the extorted money. One of them was the gold plated bag.
Her accomplice Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13, meanwhile, had squirreled away so many luxury items that it too two weeks and numerous truck trips to collect them all. The haul included pricey furniture, carpets, 120 bags and purses and 70 bags of designer clothes. Valuable artwork from Lazar Licenovski, Nikola Martinovski and Vangel Kodzoman was also seized from his apartment in a closed residential complex north of Skopje.
