The Council of the City of Skopje received a new majority, consisting of VMRO-DPMNE and the “For the Renewal of Macedonia” Coalition, Levica, Alliance for Albanians and Alternative.

The current parliamentary opposition in the Macedonian Parliament, through the won councilors in the City of Skopje in the last local elections 2021, secured an absolute majority of 24 councilors out of a total of 45 councilors in the Council of the City of Skopje.

The new city majority will function on the principle of concrete cooperation on specific program projects that are in the public interest of the people and exclusively for the benefit of the locals and the local population. With this, the current government coalition of SDSM and DUI will be the opposition in the city of Skopje. Much better days are coming in the management of the city, for the benefit of all residents of the City of Skopje and its municipalities.
