The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) says that as a friend of Ukraine, our country understand the complex situation in which Ukraine finds itself and which puts the Ukrainian authorities in a position to call for any kind of assistance, all friendly countries, including volunteers who would join the Ukrainian army in defense against the military threat posed by the Russian military.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said in a statement Wednesday that under the legislation Macedonian nationals joining any foreign army is a criminal offense.

MoFA reminds that the Republic of Macedonia fully condemns Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, and the country demonstrates this in the UN, NATO, OSCE and all other bilateral and multilateral forums.
