During the peak of the coronavirus caused economic crisis, the Defense Ministry is soliciting offers for companies to supply it with cookies, waffles and candies. The contract is worth 57,000 EUR and was first offered last week.

As a new NATO member state, Macedonia is asked to increase defense spending, although this is probably not what NATO had in mind.
