The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has so far no reports of dead or injured Macedonian nationals in the devastating earthquake that hit Albania early on Tuesday.

The Ministry explains that this is the initial and unofficial information that the Macedonian Embassy in Albania received from the Albanian Interior Ministry. They warn that this information may change throughout the day, but they are in constant contact with the embassy and competent authorities.

Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov expressed deepest condolences for the loss of life caused by the devastating earthquake in Albania and readiness to help.
