The Government is postponing a full investigation in the major Oncology Clinic scandal in an attempt to protect a favored drug supplier, said VMRO-DPMNE Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski.

They did not start an investigation even after public reports from patients and after the Parliament committee completed its work. Everybody is aware that there is a scandal, that there are potential irregularities, but the Government is trying to cover them up and to shield the leaders of the Government, who are obviously part of this scandal. Possibly the main reason why they are not opening an investigation is their need to protect the large pharmacy trader which is one of the biggest SDSM donors at the moment, Nikoloski said.

The allegations include doctors and nurses stealing cancer drugs from patients and selling them on the black market in Kosovo.
