VMRO-DPMNE Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski said that the strike of the public teachers’ union is justified.

I can’t say I’m surprised by it, the strike is justified. The salaries of the teachers, kindergarten teachers, high school teachers, they are way below any dignified level and they need to be increased, Nikoloski said.

He added that VMRO-DPMNE has a strategy on how to increase public teacher wages and improve their qualify of life, tha twill be submitted to Parliament soon. Nikoloski cited the high level of corruption in the SDSM led Government as another reason why the calls for salary increases are justified.

SDSM and DUI are pressuring and blackmailing the protesters and claim that there are not enough money for them, which is not true. Since we see that there is enough money for Muhamed Zekiri and Dragi Raskovski to sign corrupt contracts, then how come there are not enough money for higher wages?, Nikoloski asked.
