Negotiations can start immediately, we are ready for the challenge they are bringing, said Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Osmani, who attended Monday the sixth session of the National Council for European Integration in Parliament.

After two decades in the process of European integration, the Republic of North Macedonia will finally enter the long-awaited phase of negotiations, which is not a reward, but rather a valorization of what we have achieved together, especially the reforms carried out by consensus of the ruling parties and of those in opposition, said Osmani.

He expressed the belief that at the October summit the member states will make a decision which, according to him, will give impetus to the country’s further progress and will have a positive impact on other processes in the region.
