Contrary to the statements of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Justice Minister Renata Deskoska, who regarding the Venice Commission’s remarks on the Law on Languages said the institutions are ready to implement them, Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Osmani says that only the remarks in the action plans will be taken into account.
The law will change when there is an understanding between the two ethnic communities as it is a language adopted by Badinter majority. But if the practice shows both sides that there are difficulties in the implementation and that a certain provision can improve the functioning and we will vote to change the provision, but there must be a consensus, Osmani told TV Alfa.
