Perhaps Artan Grubi didn’t know, but DUI’s government coalition partners knew that the entire Language Law would be sent to the Venice Commission for review, the outgoing prime minister said after Grubi’s statement last night that DUI had expected only two articles of the law to be sent to Venice. It is now sought a way for the recommendations to be incorporated into the law, after the DUI strongly opposed the changes.
Last night on the “Top tema” show, MP Grubi claimed that the Ministry of Justice had sent the entire law for evaluation, without DUI’s knowledge.
The Justice Ministry denies that they sent the law to the Venice Commission. They say that the government did it and that the recommendations should be respected.
