Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who is heading the Macedonia delegation at the 74th United Nations General Assembly in New York, is set to meet with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Thursday.

On Wednesday Zaev participated at the Sustainable Development Summit. Addressing the forum, he stressed that in the coming period the country will be intensely committed to the process of EU membership. Among the five priority goals for sustainable development of the Government for the period 2018-2020, they identified poverty reduction, quality education, decent work and economic growth, climate action and strong institutions for peace and justice.

The official address of Prime Minister Zaev at the UN General Assembly is scheduled for Saturday. The government delegation also includes Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bujar Osmani, Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov, Health Minister Venko Filipce and Environment and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Naser Nuredini.
