Bulgarian President Rumen Radev expressed his condolences to the President Stevo Pendarovski over the severe bus accident in Bulgarian highway in which 46 people were killed.

On behalf of the Bulgarian people and on his own behalf, President Rumen Radev expressed his sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims from the Republic of Macedonia, as well as hope for a speedy recovery to those injured in the disaster. In this difficult time, Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia share common grief, solidarity and empathy. Dozens of lives lost are an unforgivable loss for our brotherly countries, said Rumen Radev.

The Bulgarian President called on the responsible institutions to determine the causes that led to the terrible bus accident, and to provide timely support to the survivors of the accident.
