Sources within VMRO-DPMNE told Alsat-M TV that the party has began to collect signatures for a vote of no confidence in the Zaev Government.

Alsat reports that at the moment VMRO is approaching BESA and LDP, from the parties that are represented in the Zaev coalition. Combined they have five seats in Parliament that is more than enough to vote the Government out, form an interim Government and likely spark early elections.

BESA is currently holding a meeting of its leadership to determine whether to leave the coalition. Zaev announced that he will resign as Prime Minister and SDSM party leader after his defeat in the local elections, but he is still holding out hope that the coalition will survive.
