VMRO-DPMNE demands that salaries in education be aligned with the Collective Agreement after the negotiations between the Government and SONK failed yesterday.

By aligning the salaries with the Collective Agreement in education, the salaries of teachers, professors and others in education should be up to 45 thousand denars, because it is illogical for a faculty assistant to have a salary of 23 thousand denars, which is just above the minimum, and the same that man invested in his education and has a master’s degree and a doctorate, said VMRO-DPMNE.

The Government informs that the meeting between the Government and SONK discussed the demands of SONK and a joint conclusion was reached that the Government is open for continuous dialogue in order to find sustainable and systemic solutions that will set a framework that will protect the standard and integrity of teaching staff with emphasis on the starting position related to the social status of the employees in the educational system as a basis for further discussions.
