Firefighters from Gevgelija were able to place under control the serious forest fire that was threatening the village of Negorci.

This afternoon the fire was just 50 to 100 meters from the houses in the village. Other cities sent firefighting teams who, together with the local volunteers, helped the Gevgelija firefighters. An army helicopter was helping the efforts.
