Kaja Shukova, the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, will take part in the 28th session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from December 2 to December 9.
According to information provided by her office, Shukova will speak and take part in a number of summit events. This entails a roundtable discussion with ministers from the Energy Community, a series of bilateral meetings, including one with the Executive Director of UNOPS, and a final speech after the agreement on the energy transition investment platform is signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
It is anticipated that the Summit will evaluate the attainment of the national and international goals and chart the course for future endeavors.
