Speaking about the Prespa treaty, presidential candidate Gordana Siljanovska – Davkova pointed out how Greek politicians are openly jubilant about the concessions the Zoran Zaev Government made.

I need to and have to keep pointing out that the treaty is not good, that it intrudes onto our right to self-determination, that it carries a threat to our identity. I’m not the only one saying that, my Greek colleagues say so as well. Armakolos says that Greece succeeded to impose something no nation has imposed on another in recent history, to change the identity of a nation, the historic and political narrative of a neighboring country. I have pointed these threats out, I will continue to calmly point them out and to revise them, said Siljanovska.

The opposition presidential candidate is an outspoken critic of the Prespa treaty that renames Macedonia into North Macedonia, and said that, as President, she will form a commission to begin the process of its nullification.
