Covid clinics in the capital Skopje are currently caring for about 500 patients, the Healthcare Ministry reported. Most of the patients are treated in the Infectious Diseases Clinic (146) and the 8th of September hospital (110), who are bearing the brunt of the epidemic. The two facilities have about 20 spare beds.
The Kozle children’s hospital has 38 patients, while the rest of the patients are treated in Covid wards that were recently opened in various clinics that are part of the Mother Teresa complex. They treat between 15 and 50 patients each.
