The Government and representatives of the public teachers will continue their negotiations on the requested wage increase, after the Government’s offer of a 12 percent hike was seen as insufficient.

The teachers’ strike is currently suspended, but could resume in the coming days if there is no agreement. The sides are meeting in the Education Ministry today.
