Four people, including a three year old child, were stuck on the Vodno gondola where the power went out.

A major storm, including snow and wind, affected the country yesterday, leading to outages. The group was first stuck on the way up, from the middle point on Vodno to the end station at the Millennium Cross. Once the power was back on, the group made it to the top, but was then unable to go down.

A special police rescue unit was sent to the top in all terrain vehicles, and eventually brought the party, which included a German citizen, down to safety in Skopje.
