VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson Naum Stoilkovski announced during a press conference on Saturday that the party has yet to make a decision regarding its participation in the caretaker government headed by Talat Xhaferi starting January 28, leading up to the upcoming elections.
Stoilkovski expressed concerns that SDSM’s refusal to consider VMRO-DPMNE’s proposal to annul the 2015 Przhino Agreement for a caretaker government, which aimed to ensure fair and democratic elections, has put the state at risk.
In response to DUI spokesperson Bujar Osmani’s earlier statement about their ambition to see a DUI member elected as head of state, Stoilkovski remarked that DUI’s actual next goal appeared to be shifting “deep into opposition.”
