Out of 3,081 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 1,198 new cases were registered, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.
New cases were registered in: Skopje-572, Kumanovo-41, Debar-1, Stip-49, Prilep-53, Tetovo-28, Struga-34, Veles-42, Bitola-92, Ohrid-42, Kavadarci-18, Gostivar-11, Gevgelija- 3, Strumica-34, Kriva Palanka-11, Radovis-6, Krusevo-6, Kocani-14, Probistip-5, Demir Hisar-3, Makedonski Brod-3, Pehcevo-7, Berovo-19, Valandovo-9, Vinica -11, Delcevo-11, Kratovo-5, Sveti Nikole-20, Kicevo-33, Resen-4, Negotino-11.
The Public Health Institute registered today 937 recovered patients from all over the country.
26 people died, including eight patients from Skopje (aged 72, 67, 88, 61, 87, 83, 59 and 67), one from Kumanovo (aged 80), one from Stip (aged 67), two patients from Prilep (aged 73 and 60) , two from Tetovo (aged 71 and 56), two from Struga (aged 68 and 37), two from Veles (aged 76 and 55), four patients from Bitola (aged 35, 73, 55 and 82), three from Ohrid (aged 46, 67 and 35) and one patient from Gostivar (aged 53).
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 51,213 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 30,204 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,423. At the moment, there are 19,586 active cases across the country.
