The Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev and former Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj are close associates, have an agreement to control the work in Macedonia, but also to create black funds which would serve for bribing politicians. This news was published today on the front page of the Serbian daily “Blic”.
According to the newspaper, Morina’s arrest has raised the issue of ties between Skopje and Pristina.
Referring to diplomatic sources, “Blic” states that Zaev and Haradinaj so far have not only met in the role of prime ministers, but also individual meetings attended by their brothers Vice Zaev and Daut Haradinaj.
While Haradinaj was prime minister, it was agreed to create black funds to bribe politicians from Brussels and Greece as well to alleviate Macedonia’s EU and NATO roadblocks. It is also important for Albanians who hold part of the government in Skopje, says a “Blic” source.
According to the newspaper, at one point Macedonian authorities received a gift of two million euros intended for Greek politicians, whose aim is to talk across the EU that they have nothing against Macedonia in the EU.
The deals that Haradinaj and Zaev made are not only related to business, but also to the military in Macedonia and Kosovo. It was agreed to finance Macedonian officers of Albanian nationality to go to Kosovo, and on the other hand to train officers of the Kosovo Army at the Skopje academy. Some of the money has been transferred through individual firms, writes “Blic”.
