Former Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is in Macedonia again, for a meeting with Zoran Zaev and an Economist conference.
Zaev and Tsipras met in the Government building this afternoon, and discussed the developments following the Prespa treaty which they imposed on their countries.
The solution achieved with the Prespa treaty altered the reality between the two countries and created a new, positive dynamic between the countries in the region, Zaev’s office said in a press release following the meeting.
Zaev’s Government touted an increase in trade between Macedonia and Greece, the plans to open two new border crossings (one in the Prespa region) and the plan to have Greece provide air policing over Macedonia.
