Zoran Zaev praised Pavle Bogoevski for announcing he will resign from the Parliament after being recorded ordering drugs from his dealer.

He is an excellent member of Parliament and one of the symbols of the Colored Revolution and the greatest symbol were all are citizens of course. It will be my pleasure to continue to work with such a man. I welcome his brave decision to assume responsibility for ethical issues as the citizens expected us to make a step in that direction, Zaev said.

He insisted that Bogoevski’s drug use is his private matter. Although it is widely assumed he was purchasing cocaine in the recording, Bogoevski claims he was buying cannabis oil for a sick family member and chose to resign rather than face the drug test he was challenged to.
