Just five days after he was allowed to defend himself from the numerous politically motivated charges from freedom, former minister Mile Janakieski is facing a new call to be put into detention. Janakieski has been under house arrest for almost three years, and suffered a severe beating shortly after he was imprisoned in Skopje’s Sutka prison in early 2019.
Due to the frequent house arrest orders and the growing number of cases the Zaev regime is initiating against him, “time to arrest Mile again” became a by-word for an attempt by Zaev to distract the public from some of his own current scandals or failures.
In this latest instance, prosecutor Vilma Ruskoska wants to detain him over his alleged role in the April 2017 incident in the Parliament.
