President Stevo Pendarovski addressed late Sunday the celebrations of the jubilees “75 years of the Faculty of Philology” and “100 years since the birth of Blaze Koneski” held at the Macedonian National Theater organized by the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” in Skopje.

We are at the end of the year in which we celebrate 100 years since the birth of Blaze Koneski, one of the pillars of contemporary educational, scientific, cultural and artistic policies in our country. The Macedonian people are privileged to have as part of their cultural, artistic and scientific heritage, a grand figure such as Koneski. Blaze Koneski remains contemporary for all times. Therefore, I have no doubt that the Faculty of Philology, which bears his name, will remain contemporary and lasting for all times, said Pendarovski.

At the solemn event, President Pendarovski was presented with a plaque as a sign of special gratitude for the continuous efforts and contribution to the development of higher education and scientific activity, as well as for selfless support and affirmation of the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” – Skopje in the country and in abroad, said the  President’s office.
