Croatian handball player Tot has died, cause of death still uncertain

Croatian handball player Denis Tot, who was taken to the Skopje Emergency Clinic on Wednesday evening, has died.

There are conflicting reports that Tot was beaten in a club in Skopje’s main park, or that he just collapsed. Doctors from the KARIL clinic said that he did not have visible signs of injuries, and that the cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.

Tot was just 27 and he played for the Butel club.
