Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs have extended condolences to the families of the victims in the bus accident that occurred on a Bulgarian motorway early on Tuesday, MIA reports from Athens.

I am absolutely shocked by the terrible accident and lost lives in Bulgaria early this morning, especially of small children. Our prayers go out to the families of those who lost their lives. Speedy recovery of the injured, Mitsotakis wrote on Twitter.

The Greek Foreign Ministry expressed deep sorrow for the “tragic news of the bus accident in Bulgaria”, expressing condolences to the victims and solidarity with the Government and people of Macedonia.
