Banks and institutions organize Thursday educational events and campaigns for promotion of saving on the occasion of October 31-World Savings Day.

Population’s deposits in September this year amounted to MKD 273.9 billion or EUR 4.5 billion euros, noting an increase of 8.8 percent compared to September last year, according to data from the Deposit Insurance Fund, which shows that citizens trust and keep money in banks despite lower interest rates.
