The presidential elections in the country will be monitored by 3,381 domestic and 520 foreign observers, as well as 289 translators and 60 foreign journalists accredited by the SEC.
Domestic observers include MOST, Mak-Sonce, an association for the affirmation of human values and youth integration and Aksios 2017 Skopje, an association of citizens for development and promotion of tourism, sustainable development and human rights.
Foreign observers include the OSCE/ODIHR mission, which has deployed a total of 195 observers, and the World Macedonian Congress, the US Embassy, the EU Delegation, the PACE Delegation.
Other embassies, including those of Russia, France, the UK, Sweden, Hungary, Italy, Albania, have also had their own representatives accredited to monitor the election.
