Today we are starting to visit homes, streets and boulevards to tell our story to the citizens and to implement the policies of the future government with them in our election program, said VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski and announced the launch of the “Talks for Renewal of Macedonia” campaign.

Before the citizens of Bitola, Mickoski pointed out Friday that the campaign will be divided into two parts, the first part – an interactive program that citizens will write for each city separately, and the second strategic part, dedicated to strategic projects important for the whole country.

This generation of Macedonians has no right to make a mistake, so we will resolutely rebuild the country and make it a dignified place to live. The first thing to do is “zero tolerance” for crime and corruption, no matter where they come from or who did it, politically determined or not. Anyone who has committed a crime will be held accountable because the people have lost confidence, because the people feel helpless, because the people have no confidence in the judiciary or in the prosecution. The people do not trust the political parties either because they see that the political parties together with the judges and prosecutors cooperate only for their own interests. Justice must be restored without the influence of politicians and political elites, said Mickoski.

In front of VMRO – DPMNE members and sympathizers, the head of the Macedonian opposition talked about weaknesses in public healthcare, education and the economy, about the unfulfilled promises of the current government and the poverty of the population, because as he said there is less money in the state budget because there is no one to pay taxes, the economy is doing poorly and the number of employees in the industry is down, because the industry is about to collapse.

We offer a different approach and that is why we want to hear citizens’ problems, even though we know most of the problems. I am aware that our political opponents will welcome all this with a reminiscence of the past, but our main goal is to do something together with the citizens to deserve our place in history, stressed Mickoski.

Advise me properly because we want to be politicians who will serve the people, not politicians who will rule the people, Mickoski said on Friday in Bitola at the launch of the VMRO-DPMNE national campaign dubbed “Talks for Renewal of Macedonia”.
