A small boat sank in lake Ohrid today, causing an oil slick in the Studenciste canal.

Local authorities say that some of the fuel on board the boat Lihnida has spilled into the canal where many locals and businesses keep their crafts and that attempts will be made to remove it. Harbor master Goran Ustijanovski said that he will work with the city of Ohrid to remove the old and unused boats parked in the canal.
