Education needs to be transformed, in line with new times and new technologies, but change is taking place slowly all over the world. Broad debate is needed for changes in education, and not a copied solution, said President Stevo Pendarovski on TV Kanal 5.

Regarding the announcement for changes in education, Pendarovski said that he was also surprised by that, but he was eased by the fact that it is only an initial concept of thinking, not a final decision.

We need a lot of debates among experts, a lot of filtering to reach the best solution, he said.

Time must pass, he stressed, and teachers, professors, the professional public and experts must be involved and it must all go in several stages.
