Former President of the State Election Commission Aleksandar Chichakovski and Eleonora Ajro, wife of Special Prosecutor Artan Ajro, who handles the “Target-Fortress” case, were elected Administrative Court judges at Wednesday’s session of the Judicial Council in the competition of 31 candidates.

Regarding Chichakovski, it was said that despite the rich biography he had, crucial to get some members of the Council to vote for him, was that in the fierce party disputes in the SEC he managed to never take sides.

Eleonora Ajro, on the other hand, has just graduated from the Academy. In the last rankings, she did not have enough points for a judge in the Criminal or Civil Court and was therefore listed as a prosecutor.

A member of the Judicial Council said she had no one to influence on her grades, like others to fulfill her dream of being a judge. She is the first elected Administrative Court judge from the Academy, although Wednesday’s election is by old law, since under the new laws, candidates for this Court will now have to come from the Academy.
