Balisti, the frequently violent and nationalist group supporting the Shkendija Tetovo football club, has apparently received funding from the Culture Ministry for its activities.
The group posted a video explaining how Balisti, the fan club named after the World War Two nationalist Albanian movement which supported the German Nazi regime, is part of the identity of the city.
At the end of the video, it is declared that it is produced with the support of the Culture Ministry, which is currently led by an ethnic Albanian minister.
Only a month ago, Balisti attacked a coffee shop in Tetovo visited mostly by ethnic Macedonians, while shouting insulting nationalist slogans.
