An earthquake was felt Monday in Macedonia at around 21:40 h.
The 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck about 8 kilometers northeast of Novo Selo (Strumica region), according to unofficial data from the European seismology service EMSC.
A 2.6 magnitude earthquake was felt in Strumica Monday morning, the Seismological Observatory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje said.
The earthquake was felt at 9:48 h with an epicenter 127 km southeast of Skopje, in the epicenter area of Strumica.
