The Prilep Court handed down an 18 years sentence to former police officer Enver Toska (25), who killed 36 year old Bekir Alili in order to steal 4.000 EUR from him.
Toska was found guilty on Monday. He invited Alili to go buy a car in a village near Prilep, and once there, he shot him to death, took the money Alili was taking to purchase the vehicle, and burnt his body. Toska confessed to the crime.
Shortly after the murder, people visiting Toska’s Facebook page found his numerous photographs with top officials from the ruling ethnic Albanian DUI party, such as Deputy Interior Minister Agim Nuhiu and member of Parliament Artan Grubi.
