Former Skopje Mayor Koce Trajanovski accused his successor Petre Silegov of hugely inflating the price for the amusement park that is being built in the main city park. Trajanovski said that the original price tag of six million euros, planned by his administration, is now being tripled, and Silegov is also planning to build a ferris wheel – a move which he and his SDSM party fiercely mocked and rejected when it was proposed by VMRO-DPMNE.

Mr. Silegov’s project is costlier by 12 million EUR from or plan. We already purchased seven rides which are kept in costly storage and could have easily been put in service in early 2018. The height of irony is that Silegov and SDSM threw sticks and stones at us over such projects, calling them madness, but now, from position of power, they propose an amusement park which costs 12 million EUR more and, wonder of wonders, will include the ferris wheel which they called unnecessary and extremely costly, Trajanovski said.
