The easing of the restrictions in Macedonia will be conducted in phases. In the first phase, the duration of the curfew will be reduced, but everyone will have to wear masks or scarves, and the measures to ban groupings and a mandatory distance of 2 meters will remain, announced SDSM Vice President Kosta Petrov.

The mandatory wearing of masks / scarves starting Wednesday refers to 3 cities, namely Prilep, Kumanovo and Tetovo.

The decree, which is to be passed in relation to sanctions, will state that the first week only warnings will be given, and then penalties. The police have an obligation to have a photograph to justify the penalty. The goal is not to allow penalties without coverage. Very important, the purpose of this decree, of course, is not punishment, but ensuring wider observance of the rules, writes Petrov.
