The call for an international investigation into the “Divo Naselje” case also prompted the reaction of well-known lawyer Artene Iseni, who defends some members of the Kumanovo group. She commented on Facebook the latest position of the candidate for Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s to conduct an international investigation into the case.

The request of the future Prime Minister of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti to conduct an international investigation is one of the responsibilities and priorities of this government. Only with experts and investigators who are not concerned with the interests of those who initiated and carried out the Kumanovo events can justice be served and our guys completely acquitted of terrorism charges. The new force is a new hope, Iseni underlined.

During a recent visit to Skopje,  leader of the Self-Determination party and candidate for Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in addition to co-operation priorities and projects of common interest, also discussed the case of “Divo Naselje” with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.

SDSM Vice President and MP, Muhamed Zekiri said in an interview with T7’s “Pressing” that Kurti had asked Zaev to conduct an international investigation into the case.

Mr Kurti has called for an international investigation into the “Divo Naselje” case. He demanded this from Zaev, I do not know if it is good to say this, but on the day he was visiting, he asked this from our Prime Minister, said Zekiri.

The international investigation was previously mentioned by both Zaev himself and Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski, when the former Special Prosecutor’s Office was handling the case.
