Macedonian police uncovered 81 illegal migrants hiding in a farmhouse in the village of Vaksince, on the border with Serbia.

The village is the main crossing point for illegal migrants who are using the Balkan route on their way north toward the European Union countries.

The group included 62 adults and 19 minors. All were from countries in the Middle East and were sent to the temporary transit center at the Tabanovce border crossing. The owner of the house has been detained.
