Macedonia boycotted the awarding Nobel Prize for Literature because Nikola Dimitrov is an idiot. This is how the Mayor of Centar Sasa Bogdanovic commented on the move by Macedonian diplomacy, which has been controversial for many.

Bogdanovic congratulated the Austrian writer Peter Handke on Facebook, and in a number of comments, he assessed Dimitrov’s order to the Macedonian ambassador to Sweden not to attend the ceremony as idiotic.

Macedonia has joined Albania, BiH, Croatia, Kosovo and Turkey, which have boycotted the awarding of the Nobel Prize because he was supportive of the Milosevic regime in Serbia.
