After the Parliament adopted the special law to pay 33 million EUR to the Makpetrol oil company for its share of the GAMA gas pipeline, the ruling SDSM party posted a gloating Facebook comment, celebrating that it was able to push the law through Parliament.

VMRO-DPMNE and Levica filibustered the work of the legislative body late last week, blocking SDSM from holding the vote. But on Monday, SDSM was able to gather enough representatives and narrowly approved the proposal, which VMRO declared as openly corrupt.

Mickoski failed in all his obstructions of the Parliament, and outside of the Parliament. Their only successful blockade are the blocked accounts in their white castle (the VMRO party office) and we will beat them in the next elections, SDSM said in its Facebook comment.

Mickoski replied today that the only thing SDSM accomplished in Parliament was to divert 33 million EUR in the pockets of Makpetrol.

You didn’t beat me, it is not my money you took, but the money of the citizens who need them most right now. You brag about taking from the poor and giving the money to rich businessmen close to your Government. Thanks to you we have 500,000 people living in poverty now and all you do is mock them, Mickoski replied.
